I am new to the online community but not new to Laurie and the “Moon”. I went to the Mystical Moon about 15 years ago because Laurie was the only one to sell a variety of Seth books. For those of you who don’t know, Seth calls himself a “personality essence” channeled through a woman (Jane Roberts). Her husband recorded everything that was said when she was in trance and these transcripts eventually led to books.
In addition, Jane Roberts was also a writer and wrote many other books inspired from the material that she obtained from Seth. The books are not for everyone however, they speak to me and I am drawn to them. I have read over 34 of the books in addition, I have attended webinars from Jane’s former students who explain the material in detail.
During Laurie’s Empower Hour last week I was inspired to share a quote from Seth and discuss/ explain it in the blog. It is one of my favorites and I refer to it whenever I’m feeling low or have nowhere to turn. It’s taken from “The Early Class Sessions” Book3 p.27.
“When you do not know what to do, relax and tell yourself that other portions of yourself do know; they will take over. Give yourself some rest. Remind yourself that in many ways you are a very successful person as you are. Success does not necessarily involve great intellect or great position or great wealth; it has to do with inner integrity. Remember that.”
On the surface he seems to say just don’t worry everything will be fine. You’re a good person and things will work out. However, Seth material is much like an onion and when you peel it back there is another layer there. He does say don’t worry yet he uses phrases that tell you why you shouldn’t worry. Seth maintains that we are multi-dimensional. Our Self includes our conscious ego and our subconscious, our dreaming self, our higher self, our reincarnational self/selves to name just a few. So, these are the “other portions” he refers to and they are all parts or portions of you. When your intellect doesn’t know something it’s ok to rest it and allow these other portions of yourself to deal with it. These portions are an intricate part of who you are and have access to much more information than the superficial ego.
He goes on to say, Success is not what you do, how much stuff you have or even how smart you are, these things are not paramount. What is important is that you are divine. This is what makes you a success. This “inner integrity” is your true self and to trust that this divinity is working hard for your benefit or your highest and best good.
Finally, “remember that” remind yourself if you forget. Don’t be in the habit of having the same thoughts over and over in your mind so that you forget who you truly are. You have everything you need just because you ARE. So, remember...there is no need to worry you can relax and trust in yourself and in your divinity.
I hope this was helpful and if you’re interested in another quote then I will be happy to share.
